A Swarthy Boy's Post AdolescenceI'm finishing uni. I hope this doesn't mean that growing up means saying goodbye to adolescence, I only just got the hang of it.
29.7.11 - I had a little bit of time on my hands in East Perth last night but no tripod… so I experimented with ISO settings and used a fence and some counterbalancing as a ghetto makeshift tripod. The photo is nothing terribly special but I had a good time wasting time.
28.7.11 - This is a crappy phone picture. I was driving behind this car when I noticed its license plate… This made me sad, I had designs on this as a personalised number plate.
Guess I missed the boat.
27.7.11 - Reabold Hill is near City Beach, just off Oceanic Drive. It has some funny art and stuff and the lookout at the top of it is pretty enough, but the ants were more interesting to take pictures of.
26.7.11 - This is a photo from Point D’Entrecasteaux. I don’t really know how far down that is. I’m not one for being terrified of heights but there was a thought of “I wonder how many times you’d bounce along the walls before you hit the water” that gave me a good sense of mortality.
25.7.11 - A short walk around from the boat ramp at Windy Harbour and this popped up on the horizon. It was really quite wet for most of the day but some of the photos managed to turn out ok.
24.7.11 - This was taken over thirty seconds at the Karri Valley Resort from one of the lakeside rooms. The view was OK, I guess… (and I managed to squeeze another jetty into this album!)
23.7.11 - Taken in a lane in Perth, the blue really pops out. I was a bit surprised by it.
22.7.11 - My friend Ben and I went around the South Perth foreshore hoping for moody stormy photos and lots of rain. It didn’t really happen but I did like this photo from under the narrows.
21.7.11 - I’ve never played with the sepia tone before but it crossed my mind with this photo and I kind of like it.
20.7.11 - Wednesday is washing day…
… when it’s not raining like crazy.
